With a degree in electrical and electronics engineering at the University of Warwick, academia has always been a passion of Koye's. He has a passion for Africa and with his saxophone and storytelling, he asks us to imagine an Africa that has freedom.

An award-winning artist, Koye is a recipient of awards such as the Yolanda Drake Award and the UK African Wedding Award for Wedding Entertainment Service of the Year. He has shared stages with notable acts including Yolanda Brown, Made Kuti, Dotti the Deity, and Etuk Ubong, and leads his own band, The Fortune Collective; a London-based multi-genre live band renowned for its electrifying performances across Europe and Africa.

As a top-class entertainer, Koye performs at weddings, concerts, birthdays, corporate functions, and festivals, either as a solo artist or with his full band, The Fortune Collective. Known for his charisma, energy, and ability to engage any crowd, he ensures every audience enjoys an unforgettable live experience.

He has sold out his last five headline concerts, including AfroJazz Fest and The KoyeSax Experience, solidifying his reputation as one of Africa's most dynamic and compelling live performers. Beyond the stage, Koye has built a thriving community of fans through his AfroJazz Fest platform, his Afrobeats Brunch London residency at Soul Mama, and his growing network of music lovers worldwide.

Since officially launching his recording artist journey in 2023, Koye has released three singles — "Darasinmi" (featuring Remii and Simidele), "To The Roots," and "Alele" gaining 1m+ streams, with more music to be released. He is also the pioneer and headliner of AfroJazz Fest, which has successfully held three editions across Lagos and London.
